Winners of the 2025 Miaoli International Ceramics Award Announced

The opening ceremony of the 2025 Miaoli Ceramic Arts Festival was held on November 22, during which the winners of the 2025 Miaoli International Ceramics Award were officially announced. Since the call for submissions, the competition has attracted numerous ceramic artists from Taiwan and abroad. Following preliminary and secondary reviews, the selected works are now on display at the Miaoli Ceramics Museum.
This year, the Taiwan Ceramics Achievement Award continues to be presented, with senior ceramic artist Tseng Shu-Chih receiving the honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to ceramic creation, education, and the transmission of ceramic craftsmanship.
The 2025 Miaoli International Ceramics Award consists of two categories—Functional Ware and Arts. The list of awardees is as follows:

Director Lin Yen-Fu of the Miaoli County Cultural and Tourism Bureau stated that this year’s competition not only reflects the rich depth of Taiwan’s ceramic traditions but also brings together a diversity of international perspectives. Through artistic exchange, the exhibition fosters cultural interaction, and it is hoped that this platform will continue to highlight outstanding ceramic works while enhancing Miaoli’s visibility as a major center of ceramic arts in Taiwan.
The exhibition is held at the Miaoli Ceramics Museum from November 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026, showcasing both selected and award-winning works. The public is cordially invited to visit and experience the vibrant creativity of contemporary ceramic art from around the world.
