Miaoli has successfully created an image as a mountain village of art and cultural interest.
This year, among the various events of the 2013 Miaoli International Art Festival, cross-border concerts will feature, for the first time, a world-renowned rock band and popular vocalist. On October 26, Wubai & China Blue, a Taiwan-based rock band that rocks the world, will stage their concert. On the 27th, Russell Watson, a highly acclaimed singer in the UK and US, will grace the stadium. Both concerts are of world-class caliber and are real feasts to the ears. Whether the highly-spirited rock concert or the melodious classical vocal music, they are intended to engage people from different parts of the nation to come and enjoy.
