Zaoqiao Township is another rural Hakka village with most of its population engaging in farming and animal husbandry. Pumpkins and milk are the most important produce here. There is a 250-meter pumpkin tunnel next to Longsheng Lake. When it comes to the harvest time, the mature pumpkins, bottle gourds, and loofahs of various sizes draw a gorgeous and breath-taking picture. You can come to Zaoqiao to visit the trails, reservoirs, and historical sites. Charcoal industry was once flourishing here in early days and now is combined with tourism to be an attraction.
